Small brushes with frayed bristles , called "ashirai kebo" in Japanese, are essential for Kintsugi . Designed to pick up gold or silver powder (type keshifun ), they are used during the final phase, "ua-nuri" , to sprinkle the lacquered surface.

Made from natural hair , these brushes are of high quality, like all Kintsugi Art tools.
